Reclaim your energy

Career dissatisfaction is at an all time high.

85% of Americans say they plan to look for a new role in the next year.

66% of Americans are unhappy with what they’re paid.

Workers are more frustrated than ever with nearly every aspect of their jobs.

So if you’re feeling fatigued and burnt out, you’re not alone.

Most folks are just to survive the situation they’re in – looking for ways to distract themselves and avoid hitting a total breaking point.

That’s because modern work culture is designed to break you down.

It beats the joy out of you.

It makes you feel small – like there is nothing you can ever do that will be good enough.

It constantly raises the bar – making you feel like you’re always behind the 8 ball – like you can’t do anything right.

It teaches you to let other people call the shots in your life rather than doing it yourself.

You’re taught that your time is not your own and someone else is the decision-maker. Not you.

It robs you of your autonomy and convinces you that the way to get ahead is to constantly sacrifice for other people rather than prioritize yourself.

This happens in every industry and at every level.

I especially hear this from folks who have “played by the rules” – meaning they’ve worked hard, kept their head down, given 110%, and followed the predictable path hoping that it would lead them somewhere good.

But it doesn’t. It results in more dissatisfaction and lack of fulfillment:

❌ Bosses that don’t value your work or time

❌ Leaders that keep expecting more from you with no additional incentive

❌ Long hours

❌ Waiting for promotions that never come

You need a way to feel truly ALIVE again. I’m talking about capital A, Alive.

Alive means:

✅ Living your day with purpose and energy – like you’re on a mission

✅ Being surrounded by the right team of people propelling you forward

✅ Doing meaningful work

✅ Being recognized and rewarded for it

When you operate like this, you feel respected and ready to tackle whatever comes your way.

You spring out of bed in the morning and look forward to going to work.

You’ve probably tried to get these things in the past by making some changes: going back to school; gaining new certifications; networking; taking on additional responsibilities to get promoted; and keeping an eye out for new job opportunities.

The problem is that none of these tactics work.

They don’t address the underlying issue – which is that you need to reclaim your time, your autonomy, and your dignity.

It’s time to get back in the driver’s seat – calling the shots in your life rather than letting your time and trajectory be determined by other people.

It’s about becoming the leader of your life and career.

Look - I know you’re working hard. But working hard is not the same thing as leading.

You can work really hard while also being reactive – letting others dictate your life.

You need to step up and take the lead of your own life. Get in the driver’s seat, and take others along for the ride.

This means building authentic relationships with the people around you while also setting clear boundaries and letting them know your expectations.

It’s learning how to create a vision and then enroll other people in that vision.

It requires you to generate energy for yourself and your ideas.

This is not a tactical exercise. This is about how you view yourself, others, and the world.

It’s about the energy you bring to the table.

You need Big Energy.

Big Energy doesn’t necessarily mean loud or charismatic. It means powerful, decisive, and clear.

It’s about prioritizing yourself, your needs, and your vision.

Do you ever wonder why some people seem to effortlessly get ahead while you struggle to find your footing?

It’s because somewhere along the way you lost that Big Energy.

To get it back, you’ll need to develop some skills.

  • Boundaries - standing up for yourself while also being friendly and warm.

  • Openness – approaching every moment with curiosity and wonder

  • Bravery – moving forward even when you’re scared or things are uncertain

  • Grit – getting knocked down and standing back up as quickly as you can

These skills will prepare you to handle anything that comes your way.

They’ll get you through layoffs, toxic work environments, bad bosses, and beyond.

They’ll equip you to always find your footing and end up on top.

You’ll earn promotions. You’ll change industries. You’ll grow your career. You’ll be happy.

You might be thinking, this all makes sense, but how do I actually do it?

That’s where I come in. My entire purpose is to teach people these skills.

Over the past 7 years I’ve coached over 200 professionals and made $2 million dollars as a solopreneur practicing what I preach.

When you work with me, you’re working with the best.

If I haven’t already been there or done that, I’ve probably coached someone who has.

I know the mental fortitude required to dig yourself out of the deepest holes, and I will teach you how.

This is what we do in The Independence Equation, my signature program.

Of course you’ll walk away with a better job and better money.

But that’s not even the best part. You’ll get your life back.
